Saferhomebirth.org is a public resource focused on the safety concerns and regulatory failures surrounding Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) in the United States. We support midwifery, and we believe that home birth can be a safe option—but only when attended by providers who meet rigorous qualifications and follow clear risk-out criteria. This site exists to expose the dangers of underregulated midwifery and to advocate for higher standards, accountability, and informed decision-making that truly protect mothers and babies.
